3. Hazard, safety and general warnings
Improper use or treatment of the camera and accessories poses a risk to you and others, and the camera may be damaged or destroyed. Therefore please read and observe strictly the following hazard, safety and general warnings.

Intended use
This security camera is intended to be used for monitoring indoor areas only. You are responsible for ensuring that the personal rights of third parties are not violated through the use of the security camera. The security camera is designed for private use and is not suitable for business or commercial use.

Hazards for children and persons with limited ability to operate electronic equipment
The camera, accessories and packaging are not toys for children to play with and should therefore be kept away from children. There could be a risk of electrocution, poisoning and suffocation. The camera and accessories may not be used by children or persons with a limited ability of operating equipment. The camera may not be used by persons (including children) with limited physical, sensory or mental capacities or limited experience and/or knowledge. The camera, the receiver and mains adapter may only be used by persons that are physically or mentally able to operate the equipment safely, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have been instructed by this person as to how to use the equipment. Children should be supervised to ensure that they are not playing with the equipment.

Hazard of electrocution in case of wet and humid conditions
The camera and any supplied components may not be exposed to dripping or spray water. Containers filled with liquid, such as vases or glasses may also not be placed on or close to the camera Danger of fire and electrocution. Electrical hazard
Switch off camera or receiver if a foreign body or liquid has entered the camera or receiver. Wait until completely dry, there is danger of fire and electrocution. The camera and its components may not be dismantled, modified or repaired, there is danger of fire and electrocution. Use only the power supply provided or a power supply with the same specifications. Connect the power supply only to a power source which complies with the information on the equipment label. Do not use power supply or output cable if damaged. Replace with same type of power supply. Check that all used mains sockets are always accessible so that the power supply can be quickly interrupted when necessary. The device is disconnected from the mains by pulling out the plug from the mains socket. Ensure adequate ventilation and do not cover the power adapter in order to avoid overheating. The USB power supply may not be used during a thunder storm, there is danger of electrocution.

Damage from heat fire hazard
Do not leave camera and receiver in places that are susceptible to considerable increases in temperature (e.g. in a vehicle). The housing and internal parts may be damaged, which in turn could cause a fire. Do not wrap up camera and receiver or place on textiles. This could produce a build up of heat in the camera that could cause deformation of the housing and may represent a fire hazard.

Injuries and material damage
When setting up or mounting the security camera, be sure to leave at least a 10 cm gap to all sides in order to ensure adequate ventilation. Take special care to ensure that no ventilation openings are covered by newspapers, tablecloths or curtains. Never place open sources of fire onto or beside the camera Damage to the electronics, lens or accessory caused by external factors, such as impacts, falls or others are not covered by the warranty and are thus chargeable.

Legal Notices
This IP security camera is exclusively intended for indoor surveillance use. It is your responsibility to ensure that the use of the IP security camera does not violate the personal rights of third parties. The video surveillance of public indoor areas (e.g. underground garage) requires a permit and the premises must be labeled accordingly. 4.3. Installing the security camera

4.3.1. Fitting stand to camera
Hold the backplate of the foot against the surface of the chosen installation location and use a pencil to mark the surface with the location of the two drill holes. To bore the corresponding holes you will need a 6 mm masonry drill for stone or concrete surfaces or a 3 mm drill if mounting on wood. After drilling, insert the wall plugs (supplied) in the holes so they site flush with the surface. Then screw on the foot using the screws supplied in the assembly kit.

4.3.2. Fixing the security camera
Place the camera's threaded tripod bolt onto the mounting plate of the foot and screw the camera tight using the tripod bolt, then tilt the camera on the tripod bolt into the required position.

Note: t 1MFBTFCFTVSFUPPQFSBUFUIFDBNFSBXJUIUIF8J'JBOUFOOBBUUBDIFEBUBMMUJNFT even if the WiFi connection is not being used, as the camera may otherwise become damaged.

4.3.3. Completing the camera installation

5. Installing the security camera
5.1. System requirements
Operating system: the software contained on the CD supplied is only suitable for Windows systems. However, browser access may be used to set up and control the IP security camera via Mac OS, Linux or other operating systems also. 5.2. Installing the hardware
The IP security camera is connected to an existing computer network via a router (not supplied). 5.3. Installing the software
Insert the software CD supplied into your computer's CD/DVD drive. The selection menu shown below should then appear. In the event that the menu does not launch automatically, go to the drive overview on your computer and click on the CD/DVD drive icon. To launch, double click on the CDMenu/CDMenu.exe program.

Click on "supra IPCam" to install the supra IPCam Config program. 5.4. Setting up the security camera
Make sure that the security camera is connected to both the router and the power source. Then open the program supra IPCam Config. Within the program, go to "Start search" to display a list of available security cameras.

From the list, select the camera you want to set up or select. Use the "Address" function to display the chosen camera's network data.

The camera is installed automatically on the network providing the "Use DCHP" option is activated and the router being used also supports DHCP (and this is activated). 5.5. Internet access

If a separate Internet address (domain) has been registered for the camera (see Section 6.8., DDNS Settings), this can be used to access the camera. You can have the public IP address sent to you by email. To do this, follow the instructions in Section 6.9., Email Settings. Use your browser to go to the page http://supracam.net/ip.aspx and the local network's IP address will then be displayed (to do this you must use a computer on the same network to which the camera is connected). The public IP address can generally only be used to access the security camera from outside the local network. To access the camera directly from the internal network, use the camera's local network address. Access the camera via your browser using the address found. Accessing correctly will cause the log on window in the camera software to open. The camera is shipped with the user BDDPVOUTFUUPiBENJOwOPQBTTXPSESFRVJSFE
Should an error occur while accessing via the Internet, this is probably due to your DPNQVUFST SFXBMMQSFWFOUJOHDPNNVOJDBUJPOXJUIUIFTFDVSJUZDBNFSB*GUIJTJTUIFDBTF you will have to change the router settings in such a way as to allow the camera to be accessed over the Internet. The following example shows which settings have to be made to a router in order to be able to connect to the security camera over the Internet. As router settings menus can vary widely, it is not possible here to offer a detailed description of how to solve the problem in BMMDBTFToQMFBTFSFGFSUPZPVSSPVUFSTEPDVNFOUBUJPOBOEMPPLGPSIPXUPFOBCMFTQFDJ D devices to communicate with the router. Essentially, to do this the security camera has to be allocated a new input port within the router via which access is permitted. This newly allocated input port is then forwarded to the camera.

Start by opening your router's port forwarding menu.

In the example shown, two security cameras are connected to the router, one called IPCamera1 under local network address 192.168.1.110 and one called IPCamera2 under local network address 192.168.1.111. &YUFSOBMQPSUJTOPXTQFDJ FEBTUIFBDDFTTQPJOUGPSIPCamera1. TCP and UDP are both permitted protocols, however the only one required is TCP. This camera is then accessed from the Internet under the address http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:81 (where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the Internet address of the router). &YUFSOBMQPSUJTTQFDJ FEBTUIFBDDFTTQPJOUGPSIPCamera2. This allows the camera to be accessed from the Internet using the address http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:82. Please note that this example assumes internal port 80 for both cameras. If the internal port for a camera is changed, this needs to be taken into account here. Do also take care to ensure that no external port is allocated twice over.

6. Settings
The following sections will give you an overview of all possible settings for your IP security camera. The equipment status gives you details of current data and settings that apply to the camera.

6.2. Camera name

6.3. Date and time
Specify here which time zone the camera is in and whether the date and time are to be updated automatically via a so called NTP server (time server).

Current date and time: this shows the date and time as stored in the camera. This information is synched with the local system when the date and time settings are saved. 8IFSFUIFPQUJPOi4ZODISPOJ[FXJUI/51TFSWFSwJTOPUTFMFDUFE UIJTNFUIPENBZCFVTFE to set the date and time. Time zone: from the list, select the time zone in which the camera is located. Synchronize with NTP server: where date and time are to be kept up to date automatically via an NTP server, tick this box. NTP server: from this list displayed, choose the NTP server to be used to update date and time. You may also specify an NTP server not on the list by entering its name or IP address. Click "Save" to accept the amended settings. The changes will be accepted without having to reboot the camera.

6.4. User accounts
Up to 8 user accounts may be set up for the security camera. These user accounts are then used to access the security camera. 5IFTFDVSJUZDBNFSBJTTIJQQFEXJUIUIFVTFSBDDPVOUiBENJOwOPQBTTXPSESFRVJSFE

Enter the user name and (optionally) a password for the new account. User name and password may each be up to 12 characters long, and any characters may be used. The password may also be left blank. Click "Save" to accept the amended settings. You will have to reboot the security camera in order to apply the changes to the user accounts.

6.5. Network settings
To connect the security camera to an existing network or router, the network settings must be made.

Use DHCP: if your network allows a new device (client) to be connected automatically, tick this box. All necessary data will then be drawn directly from the server or router. Web interface port: connections within a network are handled via so called ports allowing the server and each device (client) attached to it to work via different ports sharing a common network address. The default value for the security camera is set to 80. The data required here can generally be obtained by looking at the network properties on your computer or by asking your network administrator

Example: 192.168.1.100. Subnet mask: the value 255.255.255.0 should be entered here as standard. Default gateway: connection to the Internet is made via the default gateway. This is generally the network address of the router. DNS server: the address of the so called DNS or name server can be found under your computer's network settings. This is generally the network address of the router. Click "Save" to accept the new settings. You will have to reboot the security camera in order to apply the changes in the network settings.

6.6. Wireless settings
In the event that the security camera is to be connected to a network via a wireless LAN (WiFi) you can enter the relevant settings here.

Use WiFi: tick this box if you wish to connect wirelessly to the network. All subsequent required data regarding the wireless network is contained within the router or access point being used to control this network. Bring up the router's or access point's settings on screen and open up the settings for the wireless network. For further information on accessing this data, please refer to your router's manual or ask your system administrator. Network name (SSID): enter the name of the wireless network (also referred to as SSID).

Encryption: on wireless networks data is mainly encrypted in order to prevent access by third parties. Specify here which type of encryption is used by your wireless network. The setting "Non encrypted" means that data will be transmitted without encryption. If one of the "WEP", "WPA" or "WPA2" encryption methods is used, you will have to enter additional information on the encryption. Be sure to use exactly the same settings as you see displayed on the router or access point. 6.7. UPNP settings
Universal Plug & Play (UPnP) allows different manufacturers' devices to be addressed over an IPbased network. Where UPnP is supported by the router and activated, the required SFXBMMTFUUJOHTBSFNBEFBVUPNBUJDBMMZCZJU

6.8. DDNS settings
The security camera can be contacted via the IP address used by the router or server to connect to the Internet. Begin by entering a user name. This may consist only of upper and lower case letters, numbers or a hyphen. The user name is used for the Internet address of the security camera. Once the camera has been registered successfully, switch to the DDNS settings.

6.9. Email settings
In response to given events, the security camera can send an alarm message by email. This requires details to be entered on an email account from which emails can be sent. You can use a private email address or set up a separate email address specially for the security camera.

Activate "Use SMTP" if an email should be sent in the event of an alarm. Please note that, for this to happen, the alarm must be activated under Alarm settings. The following required data on the email account to be used can be obtained from the email QSPWJEFS*OUIFDBTFPGZPVSQSJWBUFFNBJMBDDPVOU ZPVXJMMBMTP OEUIJTJOGPSNBUJPOJOZPVS email program such as Outlook or Thunderbird. Encryption: specify whether (and which type of ) encryption is used by the SMTP server. Requires authorisation: specify whether the SMTP server requires authorisation. If yes, tick this option and then enter the user name and password for the email account. Sender: enter the email address via which the alarm messages are to be sent. Recipient 1-4: enter up to 4 email addresses to which the alarm messages are to be sent. In the event that you wish to receive notification at the email address from which the alarm messages are to be sent, you should also include this address as a recipient. Send IP address: you can use this option to specify whether an email containing the security camera's current IP address should be sent to the listed email addresses as soon as the camera's IP address changes. &OUSJFTNVTUBMXBZTCFNBEFJOUIFi4FSWFSw i1PSUw i4FOEFSwBOEi3FDJQJFOUw FMET Click "Test" if you wish to test the email settings. 6.10. FTP settings
The security camera offers you the opportunity to upload images to an FTP server, on either a one time or a regular basis. Enter here the required access data for an FTP server to be used for this purpose.

Activate "Use FTP" if images from the security camera are to be uploaded to an FTP server. Server: enter the address of the FTP server. Port: enter the port via which the FTP server is to be accessed. The standard value is 21. User name: enter the name of a user account which has read and write permissions on the FTP server. Password: enter the user account's password.

Path: enter the path under which the images should be stored on the FTP server. Transfer mode: choose whether an active or passive FTP connection should be requested when transmitting. Upload at intervals: tick this option if you would like images from the security camera to be uploaded to the FTP server at regular intervals. Interval (seconds): specify here the intervals at which images should be captured and transferred. Specify file name: tick this option if you wish to specify a file name. If this option is not ticked, a preset file name will be used for storing images. File name: enter your own file name here. When images are stored, this name will be used together with sequential number suffixes. Specify maximum number: this option may be used in order to limit the number of files stored on the FTP server. Number of files: specify the maximum number of files to be stored on the FTP server. When this number is reached, each additional image will be stored by deleting the oldest image held at that moment. To test the FTP settings, click "Test" below. This will then save a single image to the FTP server. Click "Save" to accept the changed settings. The changes to the FTP settings are accepted without rebooting the camera.

6.11. Alarm settings
The security camera can issue alarm messages in a variety of situations. Specify here the conditions under which the camera is to issue an alarm message and what should be undertaken in the event of an alarm.

Motion detection: tick this option to activate movement detection. Sensitivity: specify a level of sensitivity (0 to 9) for movement detection. Compensation for changes in light: this option may be selected to prevent movement detection being impaired by changing light conditions. Detect at digital input: when this option is activated, an alarm message given by the alarm transmitter can be accepted by the security camera.

Alarm level: specifies whether an alarm is triggered when there is no voltage at the alarm input (low setting) or when there is voltage (high setting). Report at digital output: where this option is activated, an alarm message is forwarded via the digital output as soon as it is in existence within the security camera. Alarm level: specify whether the alarm is to be sounded at the digital output as a result of voltage (high setting) or when the voltage disappears (low setting). Report to email: activate this option if notification by email should occur in the event of an alarm. Report at FTP: activate this option if images should be stored on the FTP server in the event of an alarm. Interval: specify at which intervals (number of seconds) images should be saved to the FTP server. Report at HTTP: activate this option if an HTTP address should be accessed in the event of an alarm. URL: specify here which HTTP address should be accessed in the event of an alarm. Click "Save" to accept the changed settings. The new alarm settings are accepted without rebooting the camera.

6.12. Head settings
This category can be used to make settings affecting the positioning of the camera head.

Use Infrarot LEDs in darkness: if this option is activated, the infrared LEDs will be cut in as an additional light source in darkness. Fixed position on switching on: activate this option if the camera head should adopt a certain position when the security camera is switched on. Position on switching on: specify which position the camera head should adopt when switched on. Select Centre if the camera head should be centred or select one of the positions stored in the camera view (see Section 7.2.2). Automatic speeds: specify, separately for up/down/left/right, how fast the camera head should move when being controlled automatically. Click "Save" to accept the changed settings. The new head settings are accepted without rebooting the camera

6.13. Resetting
To reset the security camera to factory settings, click "Reset now". Resetting takes approximately 1 minute. Please wait until the log on is displayed in the browser window. 6.14. Rebooting
To reboot the security camera, click "Reboot now". This applies all settings made to date. Rebooting takes about 30 seconds. Please wait until the log on is displayed again in the browser window

7. Using the security camera
7.1. Accessing the camera
Begin by opening your browser program (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome, Safari or similar). In the address line, enter the IP address of the security camera. If you wish to access the camera from a computer on the same local network, you may also enter the local network address. Log on by entering a user name and, where relevant, the associated password. Then click "Login"8IFOVTJOHUIFDBNFSBGPSUIF STUUJNF QMFBTFFOUFSiBENJOwBTUIFVTFS BOEMFBWFUIFQBTTXPSE FMECMBOL The camera's operation and settings program will then open.

7.2. Controlling the camera
The security camera is controlled by a variety of buttons and options. Below the camera JNBHFZPVXJMM OECVUUPOTGPSFYFSDJTJOHEJSFDUDPOUSPMPWFSUIFEJSFDUJPOPGUIFDBNFSB head as well as some fundamental camera settings. Which buttons are available and which settings may be changed depend on the permissions granted to the user account. As Administrator you have access to all buttons and settings. As Operator you can control the direction of the camera head and set the camera image, but not make any settings. As User you can only access the camera image, but not use any of the controls or undertake any settings.

7.2.1. Moving the camera head

The direction buttons may be used to move the camera head in the various directions. If you hold the mouse over one of the direction buttons and keep the mouse button depressed, the camera will keep moving in the chosen direction until either you release the mouse button or the camera reaches its limit of travel in that direction. The centre (red) button may be used to move the camera to the centre. For further information on the camera head's speed of movement, please refer to Section 6.12.

7.2.3. Camera image settings
Use this view to specify the settings pertaining to the came image (picture).

Resolution: here you can choose whether the security camera image is displayed in resolution of 640 x 480 pixels or 320 x 240 pixels. Light frequency: if the camera is being used in a space illuminated by fluorescent light, set the mains frequency of the local power circuit here (50 Hz or 60 Hz). If the camera is being used outdoors, select the Outdoors setting. Brightness: specify a brightness level between 0 and 6 (inclusive). The higher this figure, the brighter the camera image will be. Contrast: specify a contrast level between 0 and 6 (inclusive). The higher this figure, the more contrasted the camera image will be. Flip horizontally: select this option if the camera image should be mirror imaged horizontally. Flip vertically: select this option if the camera image should be mirror imaged vertically Horizontal and vertical mirror imaging of the camera picture may for example be used where the security camera is mounted on a ceiling.

7.3. Using the camera via mobile devices
